Carl is from New York and partial to multicultural environments, but prefers living in Asia—Korea and Japan (he has not yet been to Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan or China)… for their warmth of humanity, national structures and infrastructures, safety, spirit, peace, culture, meditative practices and artfulness in demeanor~as well as in craft. He writes and recites poems, essays, and jokes. He seeks interviews with cultivated, honest and ethical minds.

Carl tutors English as a Second Language, learns as much as he can and writes poems, essays, maxims, petitions, jokes, stories, and a memoir—and he takes copious notes. Here, he recites his works—having done this at venues from New York City to Boulder, to SeoulBusan, to Suwon and to—well, not yet in Tokyo, though he lived there five years…. Once in a Jovian moon he draws—takes and makes pictures and goes somewhere. He hopes you enjoy his podcast and are influenced by it.

Carl endeavors to interview friends, family and everyone from astronauts to zoologists.

Join him and let’s make the world—the only one we’ve got right now—a better place. (Don’t yawn—unless you have to—or, to hell with it, yawn if you want to).

Thank you for reading. If you had trouble reading this, go to Ad Astra ESL to get some help from Carl. He’s a nice guy, and an honest, good-faith actor-primate just like you.

Carl in his former abode in Tokyo.
