You agree to the terms of service below, and the Terms of Use for Substack, the technology provider.

  1. This podcast, newsletter and and all the art, voice, and ideas herein should not be reproduced without the expressed consent of the author beyond social media sharing.

  2. The podcast and posts are free to listen to and read, but:

  3. Posted questions by audience members are only answered here on Substack for paying subscribers.

  4. In the future, it is likely that a paywall will separate the audience from either the audio or the essays; I have not decided. One or the other will remain free. Right now, all is free, so that I can establish a larger audience.

    NOTE:
Against probable common intuition, I am leaning toward making the podcast free and the essay pay-walled, which probably won’t yield more income, but there are people more interested in reading than listening—and they may be the more serious thinkers, anyway, so might make the more steady contributors, and, I love to make podcasts, so limiting the reach over money only decreases the joy for the lack of listeners. Once I have interviews, I may make half the audio free and the full audio open to paying supporters only, the way some professionals do on YouTube.
