Podcast 5: To The Memory of Astro Walt Cunningham

In memory of the trail-blazing Apollo 7 astronaut who left us January 3rd, 2022. His 11 day Earth orbit test flight with Wally Shirra and Don Eisele proved Apollo worthy for missions to the moon.
‘Don’t’ Rest in Peace...

Astro Walt!

Now, unbound

Beyond Terra's orbit —

You can reach the Jovian moons!

And—

Returning to this watery green—

And cloud-swept Earth—

Make visit at coveted Mars…

Leaving again—with

No loss for delta V—

Your new freedom can take you

Tween the stars!

Thank you—for your service

And getting Apollo to Luna!

And Artemis will thank you—

When she touches down—

With a grateful world
