Listen now (10 min, 11 sec.) | I hope you enjoy this version of WALOD. I feel it's astronomically better. If ya don't mind, let me know what you think. I fixed the volume and added many extras, enhancing the narrative. Thanks! -CA
The kindest thought I can impart to you is:
There is no afterlife.
This life is enough.
It is the thought
and delusion,
the egotistical dualism—
of an afterlife-life—
which spawns all our
problems,
distractions
entitlement and neglect—their
empty promise of
a lack of fear at the time of death,
which is not worth
all the unnecessary pain
and the severe
Confusion, wrong decisions—
Cruelty,
Privation and
Suffering they embody and inspire and engender—
in exchange
for a few un-gauranteed moments
of delusory “comfort”
It is the fact of the end
of consciousness—
which makes
every moment
Precious
Death is being forgotten
by survivors, who cared—but didn’t know:
The Afterlife is in those who remain—
Once we are free of every single pain—
and who
Cultivate their avatars of us
In their minds—
That place we affectionately call
“The heart”
卍道
Thank you, Paul!
